Advice on build

I'm in the process of building a computer and was wondering if anyone coud give me feedback on the components. I used pcpartsbuilder.com but just want to verify that everything will work well together.

The main purpose of this build is for hash cracking, however it will be used for other tasks as well.

If there's anything you think should be changed I'd appreciate the feedback.

You don't need that platform if you're sticking with a single GTX1080 FE card. You would be able to build on a smaller form factor+for a lower cost. Mind sharing the link to your PCPartPicker build?

In general, work and very good build

Some comments: ram speed is on the low side, for that productivity work, I recommend threadripper, founder edition is not recommended, slower than factory adjusted version, 4x16 is better to put less stress on memory controller. a small ssd just for OS and other applications. For psu, Platinum and gold only have efficiency diff, performance is same.
