Hey all, so I'm wanting to upgrade my GPU from a r9 280x to a rx 470. First off, is the rx 470 much better than r9 280x? I heard it was. ALso will my cpu bottleneck my gpu? I have a fx-6300 and dont know if i should invest in the rx 470. Also, if there is a better alternative, could you reccomend? I am just gaming at 1080p 60HZ

Solution

pointless, your cpu is too weak

and gpu power wise its a sidegrade anyways

save the money for a complete system upgrade
you are in a dead end setup right now, its not worth spending any money on it
because it cant handle anything more powerful gpu wise

Mine is the Corsair CSM 650Watt. I only purchased it end of last year because of psu problems I was having with my last PSU (Antec True Gamer 650w). If it helps heres my current build rn. (Outdated, Iknow lol):
