Hey guys, I was thinking of getting an Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z AMD Socket AM3+ mobo. I currently have and AMD FX-8320 and only reaching about 4.5Ghz at the moment but want to go about 4.7ghz
Will this board support high overclocks or am i asking too much of it? also, I want to do this as I'm being Bottlenecked with older games with my R9 290, I like to play older games awell as new and I noticed when I THOUGHT I had a stable overclock at 4.6ghz the older games were running very very well witch I like to see for my pc but it just switches off about 10 minutes of gaming? My guess is it's too much volts for the board or something
Specs
CPU - AMD FX-8320
Mobo - Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3
PSU - OCZ 700w ModXtreme 80+
