Hey Guys,

My laptop recently died so I am building a new system. Can I get some advice on whether you would change anything and if you think it will work well.

So,
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K 3.40GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-DS3H
Memory: Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance Memory Kit CL9
Storage: Corsair 240GB Neutron Series GTX (Already own this)
Another drive for storage (undecided)
Video Card: Sapphire R9 270 2GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card
Case: CIT Vantage Type-R Midi Mesh Gaming Case Black Interior
Power Supply: Corsair 600W CX Builder Series 80 Plus Bronze PSU
Optical Drive: Just a cheap DVD writer

Was thinking about changing the Case to something with a USB 3.0 on front but not sure what. But other than that, what do you guys think? Would you change anything?

its all down to budget, if it were me personally i'd be looking to utilise the XMP with faster ram, and get a gtx 770 or similar.
if budget was that tight i might even be tempted to go with an
AMD APU A10 6800K based system just to spend the extra cash on faster ram and GPU

whatevers most cost effective.. i have a socket 2011 based system with quad channel 2400mhz and a 670gtx 4gb it owns :)

I cant really think of a logical justification for a specific ram speed, just faster is better and it doesn't cost loads to upgrade :)
