I have used quite a few Laptops before and each and everyone of them had their GPUs Fried. So I decided its high time for a Desktop.

Let me Define what I would like to use my system for:
1. MMORPG Gaming (Guild Wars 2 like Games)
2. I am a Beginner level Developer and I like using Unity 3D, AutoCad and writing C++ Application for 3D Simulations
3. Bootable USB for Multiple Operating systems (Windows, Ubuntu & Android)
4. Enough Memory to Handle Virtual Box
5. Stream Movies to Smart TVs through HDMI
6. Handle Split Screen, Dual Monitor etc.
7. Have Wifi.

Concerns
1. Would Like to have the Mother Board to have some Hard ware Monitoring tool to Measure various GPU & CPU Temperatures, Memory Diagnostics etc
2. Continuous running for 8+ hrs with Lots of 3D Rendering (Games & Unity3D Development etc..)
3. Make an Nvidia SLI in Future if need be
4. I salvaged a few 2.5'' Hard disks from my Laptops. Can I use them?

I primarily am looking to buy it of a local vendor who provides good Desktop customization his Website is http://www.golchhait.com/
These are the set of gaming PCs he offers as a standard: http://www.golchhait.com/index.php/desktops-laptops/category/174-nvidia-gaming-p-c which I used as a reference to make my Own Build.

My Build:
Case : Cool Master Stryker Cabinet (Would like the handle for a bit of Mobility
GPU: Asus STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5 ( Would Like to make an SLI of it in future)
CPU: Intel i7 4790k
Cooler: Noctua D-14 (Is this a good enough Cooler?)
RAM: Kingston 16GB 1866 MHz
PowerSupply: Antec 750W True Power Gold (Is this a good power supply?)
MotherBoard: Asus Maximus vii Formula (It has built in wifi which is not there in Hero or Ranger. Let me know if there is a better option) - This is where I am a bit confused

Let me know if this is a good Set up to achieve my requirements. Also if there are any recommendations let me know. Also should I worry about upgrading to DDR4 and choose a motherboard suitable for it?

you are overspending on the case and motherboard. you can get a wifi card for about 15-20 bucks that will do the same job:

(you didn't include storage, so nether did I)

To upgrade to DDR4 you need an X99 chipset motherboard, which is no problem if you get a 5820K 6 core CPU, which is much better suited to compiling code and anything in modeling/simulation.

The 5820K can be had most places for about $30-$40 more than the 4790, and the Asus X99-A Motherboard is down around $240, and includes an M.2 3.0x4 socket for an SSD hyperdrive you could add when their prices come down.

The platform jump to X99 used to be about a $350 - $400 premium, but now the difference between it and a Z97 is about $130 or less with sales, and that gives you a fast 6-core on a mobo that can easily get the 5820K running up around 4.4 - 4.5 Ghz on all six cores, using the Asus O.C. socket technology.

It also puts a more powerful 8 core within reach when its price comes down next year, instead of being marooned on a z97 platform.

I forgot to mention I am from India and a Bit Limited on Parts I can go for.

With regards to the Case I needed portability. Though it Might be Heavy, I wanted to be able to quickly and safely take it across rooms and maybe when I travel as well.

And I read in this forum Noctua is Better(Example: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2582236/cpu-cooler-corsair-h100i-noctua-d15.html). Do not want to compromise on Cooling even if its expensive. The one you are suggesting is better than Noctua?

I wanted to stick to Asus for Motherboard as from service perspective (In case there are issues in Warranty period) Asus will be better for me than MSI. Can suggest a Different Motherboard from Asus?

Can 5820K+x99_DDR4 as well run almost equivalent to 4790k+z97+DD3 for games(I play MMORPG Guild Wars2 Mainly)?
