advice on my first gaming pc build

i have been searching around and i THINK ive put together a good build but id like a second opinion
-Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
-MSI Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
-Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card
-Deepcool Tesseract SW-BK Black Window Mid Tower Case
-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 120mm CPU Cooler
-Corsair CX Series 600W Power Supply
these are just the main components that i have found so far

Yeah and a better mobo. The pc mate won't do your cpu justice.

Your build is fine.

Just don't buy the CX series PSU.

If you have to buy Corsair then get a HX or AX series PSU.

what do you guys suggest for power supply and motherboard that is better but still within the same price bracket (keep in mind i live in canada)

A good quality XFX or SeaSonic is always a reliable choice. I have the XFX XTS gold which is solid.

Pretty good. You should easily be able to hit ~4.3gz. As for the gpu- IDK (but chances are lookin' good).

so none of the power supplies are very good at best buy?

Only the antec ones= but they provided lower wattage than the one I earlier recommended (and were also tad higher priced).

If you can swinng it, go for the true power classic - good psu.
