So recently Ive been looking to buy a new gaming pc, I will use it for mid-high end gaming on 1440p 144hz resolution. I would like to know if this build is good or if there are things I can change that will be better.
The rig is:
CPU: Intel Core i5-13600K 3.5 GHz 14-Core Processor

CPU Cooler: Antec Symphony ARGB 72 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard: Gigabyte B760 AORUS ELITE AX ATX LGA1700 Motherboard

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory

Storage: Netac NV7000 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive

Video Card: Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 4070 12 GB Video Card

Case: Antec AX90 ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply: Antec NeoECO Gold 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

That build should be decent. I’ve got a 12600kf and an rx 6800xt gpu that I got on sale which pretty much is even with the 4070. Im pretty happy with my setup. So with you having a little better cpu, I think you’ll be happy with it

I can say if you consider air, grab the Thermalright peerless assassin 120 se. In the USA it runs about 35 dollars but has performance comparable to some aios. Plus it’s pretty easy to install. And if a fan goes out oh well toss in a new 120mm fan.

Personally I can’t say I’ve used the noctua cooler.

Here’s the cooler I’ve got on my 12600kf.

For the money it’s not bad. It keeps my 12600kf around 60 degrees in cinebench and just over that with Intel burn test.
There is none better.
But, check for ram clearance.
The rgb version is 56mm tall so the front fan would need to be moved up.
The low profice version would be ok.

The NH-D15s Performs similarly and is designed for tall ram:
