Hey everyone :)

I am looking to update my GPU and any other parts that might need it. Here are my specs:

Gigabyte HD 7870 2GB OC version
ASUS Maximus V gene
Intel Core i7 3770k
Seagate Sata 500GB
Kingston 4gb DRR3 1600MHz (x4)
Corsair 750W
Corsair C70 case
60Hz 1080p monitor
Windows 7 64bit home premium

I'm not looking for something too expensive, I just want to run the average game smoothly (no need to run on the highest settings).

Specifically, I am having frame drops on games like PUBG and Squad when trying to render distant objects (looking far away), on the lowest settings. Squad only runs at 30fps in multiplayer.

I haven't been in the gaming hardware scene for a while now, so I have no clue what kind of cards would go well with my system.

Also, if you think a better monitor (above 60hz) is worth it, please make a suggestion.

Thank you in advance for any help and advice.
Kind regards,
Djordje

Your current video caed is on par with a 1050 or rx 560. Due to bit minning the options on upgrading are a bit odd. If you wish to stick with AMD then get a rx580. The rx570 is only about $10 lower price while as slow as 1060 3GB.

Video Card: Sapphire - Radeon RX 580 4GB NITRO+ Video Card ($249.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $249.99

From Nvidia you could get the slower 1060 3GB a bit cheaper.

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by this?
"Due to bit minning the options on upgrading are a bit odd."

Bit mining has pushed the prices on AMD cards up back in the summer. They are comming back down but still high. Before you could pick up the rx580 8GB for $250. The suggested rx580 4GB for $200 and a rx570 for $170. Point is if you can hold off till black friday they should be at better prices.
