Question Advice on upgrading my PC’s RAM ?

Hi guys!

I have an older system and planning to upgrade the RAM without breaking the bank.

Unfortunately, older RAMs are not available here and I was wondering if the newer ones will be supported by my system.

My current hardware specs are:

Intel i7700k
Asus TUF Z270 Mark-1
Corsair 8GB 2400Mhz LPX DDR

Option available in market is

XPG SPECTRIX D35G DDR4 32GB (16GB x 2) 3600MHz​

Can I replace my current RAM module with the above?

Yes you can, in fact the sweet spot for DDR4 on that intel platform was DDR4-3200MHz and DDR4-3600MHz.

I am in Pakistan. Not too many reliable retailers here and the XPG one is the only option available available at the shop I trust.

Make sure of the return policy and if good try the upgrade.

You might want to get the proper bios first.

Go to the mobo site and see what they offer in the bios area.

If your running an old bios it may not play nice with new ram.
