Question Advice on Upgrading

Hello guys, i recently dusted off my old rig and it has an i5-2500 processor. Would i be better off buying parts for i5-2500 or just buy a new proc e.g. Ryzen 5 2400g? I only use my rig for CSGO, Dota2, Tekken 7, programming (Visual Studio) and video editing. Thanks in advance.
