advise on new monitor for wow or rts.

Hello, i'm seeking an upgrade to my ips 21" monitor.
i'm playing wow, and total war mainly.
my gpu is still a 970. probably upgrading in next winter.

my budget is around 300€ so no 4k monitors

not so much space on my desk, so probably a 27" is too much.
24" fit perfectly.

I would make sure, using a tape measure, that a 27 won't fit. It would suck to get a smaller monitor, and realize you could have went bigger. I have had that happen. If you intend to upgrade to a beefier GPU, you could go with 1440p, in that budget.
