hi guys i have 3 options for my money.

and i would want to get a better overall performance.

sell my fx 6300 and msi 880gms e41
and buy an i5 3470 + a decent mobo around $60

sell my gtx650ti and get an r9 270

or sell my mobo then get a 970fx then mobo overclock my fx 6300.
then get an r7 260x.

by the way i have a gammax s40 cooler

Solution
option 2 sell my gtx 650ti and get an r9 270. ( have to settle for fx6300)

Okay, thanks for clarifying. In that case, I would suggest the second option.

An i5 is good to have, but as for now, GPU matters more than CPU. A 6 threaded FX-6300 is quite capable of running even the latest games.

So it is down to the GPU. A 270 is a price-value winner.

And also, don't be afraid to overclock your CPU, just don't force voltage and watch the temps. I overclocked my FX-4100 in an ASRock 960 GS3-FX board back then to 4.5 GHz, and every part is still working.

So don't worry. :)

nopee.

option 1 sell my 6300+ msi 880gms and get an i5 3470 and a $60 dollar mobo. just a decent mobo. meaning i'll have to settle with my 650ti in exchange of getting an i5

option 2 sell my gtx 650ti and get an r9 270. ( have to settle for fx6300)

option 3 sell my motherboard and get a 970 board then overclock my 6300, then sell my gtx650ti get an r7 260x
(overclock my 6300 for better performance and have an r9 260x.

i have a very lmited budget so those are only my 3 options

Solution
My only concern about option 2 that the new gpu may get bottleneck by the old cpu.
If this is not the case then go with option 2, otherwise option one then upgrade your gpu later
