Hi I've just bought a system from Chillblast - I opted for Standard psu because a) I didn't really know any better and b) I've just realised I have a 650w psu (under 2 years old) in my current (dying) 8 year old quadcore2 6600 PC

Mainly I just wanted something way quicker and less prone to crashing than my current PC - I'm not a heavy gamer

So is the newer? Aerocool likely to be sufficient or should I swop for the OCZ or do I need to look at something else?

Not sure if my spec sheet is of any use for this query but just in case

Thanks a lot

Thanks, my options assuming I get it included in the build (highly likely as I've never replaced a psu myself) from Chillblast are:-

Corsair cx600w
Aerocool 80 plus 600w or 700w
Fsp 80 plus silver 750w
Corsair cx750w 80 plus

Any of these stand out?

Sorry I know nothing about psu's so I'd rather spend a bit more now and get it right if I have too - I don't need top end stuff just enough to run a half decent mid range system doing day to day stuff and some gaming

Thanks a lot

So I did find a couple of reviews of the OCZ cz 650w, mostly complimentary but from 2011/2012 and it seems OCZ pulled out of the psu market some while ago
