AF120 or SP120 for intake case fans

Sort of a silly question, i know af are airflow optimised and sp are static pressure optimised but i am just wondering as my current intake fans starting to make a grinding/vibrating noise

If you have hard drive cages in the way , I use SP , If it is a clear path for the most part I prefer AF Quiet Edition.

I have 2 slots for intake fans at the front one has a hdd cage behind it one dont, should i just go with af's then?

Bit of a random one, but what causes a fan to start grinding/vibrating, they are quite old (the ones im replacing) so i put it down to that, but is there any causes like running as constant max rpm? as im running them on 8v at the mo cause the noise at 12v was doing my head in

Usually a failing fan bearing.
