Question After ~4 years, having issues with a BIOS loop on my build

Hello! So I have had my current build for over 3 years. Yesterday upon booting up my PC, it started entering a loop where it takes me to my BIOS on startup. I have not changed anything, I haven't even moved my PC box in months.

My setup is-
Samsung 970 EVO plus 1TB NVME M.2 (this holds my OS and boot options)
an additional 1tb of storage on a Samsung SSD 860 EVO
Asus Prime Z-390A Motherboard
Intel core i5-9600K CPU @ 3.7 GHz
Geforce RTX 2070 graphics card

As stated, I have had 0 issues with this build except realizing I installed my CPU wrong initially, but that was fixed over 1.5 years ago (left the plastic on the CPU and installed my fan because I am very smart). I have not altered a thing internally, and to my knowledge my Mobo hasn't had a BIOS update since June 2021.

I have taken apart my PC. I've taken out my CPU, RAM, graphics card, I have done all the tricks to discharge my CMOS battery and I have removed and re-installed my CMOS battery. Upon startup, I get this: https://ibb.co/kqDPScy

Besides replacing my CMOS battery, I haven't been able to find anything to help. My BIOS version isn't the most recent, so I am going to try that. Upon startup, the lights on my motherboard are as follows: CPU light turns red then off, DRAM light turns orange then off, VGA light turns white then off, Boot light turns green then off. After taking my PC apart and putting it back together, sometimes it will only do the CPU and DRAM lights, then my PC will reboot itself a couple times before taking me to the screen I linked above.

So my question is- how do I get out of this BIOS loop??

Solution
Your hard drive id dying so you get that warning.
You can enter bios and disable the F1 splash screen and it will load to desktop.
But you need to replace your hard drive .
If you do not have backups even more so.

Ugh, a simple but expensive fix.

How do you disable the F1 splash screen to skip to desktop? I have tried rebooting so many times, but don't see any option as you have stated.

You have to enter bios.
F1 when this screen appears.
From there it depends on mother board bios and version.
Usually it is in advanced options or in boot options.

Or you can boot into bios ,choose boot options and select your boot drive.
This will boot to windows but not fix your problem.

Gotcha, I will look around my BIOS some more. I couldn't find any way to skip it so far. Luckily I have a shockingly low number of personal files on my memory, and I found a free software that helped me extract my photos and some other lists/documents I want.

I don't have a lot of complaints about my 970 EVO Plus, it performed great while I had it, so I am going to just get another one and replace mine. Do a full reboot of Windows and all that other good stuff. Luckily I have another memory card with a lot of other games and stuff, but still going to have to download ~400 gigs of data on my awful home internet.

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely be updating this if replacing my NVME drive doesn't work, so keep your eyes peeled in case I need you again hahaha! But I am pretty sure you're right, as I had unplugged my 2nd SSD and still got this issue before, so the issue does feel like it lies with my NVME drive I have Windows on.

If it is steam games etc .. just download steam or the other launchers and point the library to your existing folders on the secondary drive.
No need to download the games again.
True, but when I did that my Steam games didn't have their proper logos, just white papers. Didn't have too many downloaded, just queued them all up and went to the gym. Was done when I got home =D
