Hey everyone! never posted before so please be gentle if i missed anything
First time I actually changed a physical hardware in my PC. Iv'e changed my busted case fan and installed a new one, and another one for good measure. After doing that, ive booted the PC, everything looked fine, fans started spinning, but Ive notice when trying to launch a game it take waayyyy longer than it should, and games that ran silky smooth (more than 60fps) barely manage to get to 25.
Ive checked some settings to see if im not suddenly using power savings or what not but to no avail. It does seem that while playing high demanding games, my gpu usage wont go above 30 precent and the cpu goes to 100 precent. So I def did something wrong.
What I do remember doing that might be the culprit, is that when I disconnected the fan that came with my pc, he was connected to the power supply(it did had the useless RGB function and the new ones dont) and to the cooling system (i think) and after disconnecting it, the new fans are connected straight to the motherboard.
Any help will be appreciated! and thanks in advance!
