Question After Cpu and mobo change speeds decrease

Got new parts,(Cpu and mobo) installed properly. Everything works okay but speeds decreased. Used to have i5-7400, and stock acer mobo. Loading times were 20 sec with my ssd, now it takes up to 30 sec with fast boot enabled. It also takes about 10 seconds to my screen to light on

Specs:

Cpu:Intel i5-8400

Gpu: evga Gtx 1070

Motherboard; Msi b360 gaming plus

Ram 1: 8 gb Kingston 2400 DDR4

Ram 2: 8 gb Corsair 2400 DDR4

Psu: Evga 600w

Case : nzxt h500i

Ssd: Samsung 120 gb OS Installed)

Hdd: 2tb toshiba hdd

Monitor: acer 1440p 144hz



Previously everything worked awesome before an upgrade, speed wise. Thanks everybody for responses!

Edit: Reinstalled windows, same 30 seconds to boot up, slightly faster in windows. Same 10 seconds that screen doesn’t light up when computer does work.

Replacing motherboard requires reinstallation of the OS (even for Windows 10) -- you've done this?

No, as I said I plugged in motherboard, turn it up and my old windows was there...

new chipset on motherboard usually warrants a reinstall of windows. To rid yourself of the old motherboard drivers and utilities.

Reinstalled windows. Same thing. Little faster in windows but loads same 30 seconds(10 of those seconds I have black screen that doesn’t even light up)
