After installing asus r7 260x in intel dh61ww motherboard the system won't boot but the cpu and gpu fan works fine and the gpu is getting power through motherboard not the powesupply

Solution

If a psu does not have a 6 pin connector, it likely does not have the amperage to support one.
Replace that psu with a quality unit asap.
The danger is not that it does not work, the danger is that if the psu should fail under load, it will not have the protective circuitry to keep from damaging all your other parts.
Here is one list of psu quality:

I have tested this gpu in my friend's computer it's working fine but the problem is when he connect the gpu through hdmi cable the output on the monitor is like some color problem

Is the gpu working well on friend's pc?
Is there a 6 pin connector on friends pc?
Does the monitor look proper when connected via hdmi to friend's pc?

If you are getting artifacts on your pc one of the possible causes is a underpowered psu.
See if you can't test on your pc with a known good psu.
Perhaps a local shop would do that.

If you can't do that, I would buy a quality psu replacement regardless
