Question After installing new cpu my display isn't being recognised

So i decided to upgrade my cpu from Ryzen 5 2600 to Ryzen 7 5800x. When i tried to turn on my computer with 5800x it started to make loud fan noise and monitor wasn't being recognised. So i put my old cpu back in and thats it for now. My current build is 4 years old and the specs are RTX 2070, ASRock A320M-DVS R3.0

What BIOS version are you running?

You need to be on at least P7.10 to run a 5000 series chip.

Latest is P7.40

oof yeah, that's the issue. So is it as easy as just installing it and changing cpu again?

if you bios is older then 7.xx, then you will need to flash 7.00 first, then you can update to 7.40

Alright so i was able to install new cpu, PC booted up fine but the temps were a bit too high. On idle (just desktop no programs open) the temps were at 60-70, so decided to go back to my old cpu. I probbaly need a new cooler, my current build is using the stock AMD cooler but i guess that's not powerful enough for 5800x.
