The title pretty much says it all. Hello, I am pretty new to the forum so please forgive me if i posted at the wrong forum. So, recently I got a new aio (cooler master 240argb v2) and replaced my old stock cooler for my ryzen 5 2600. But, when I unscrewed the stock cooler, the cpu came out of the socket and was stuck to the cooler. But luckily I managed to get the cpu back and reinstalled it. So, after that incident I installed my aio then booted up windows and went to American Megatrend screen. I went to my bios to reenable my xmp and booted into windows. The first thing I did was open my browser and went on youtube but I couldnt hear anything. So, I decided to troubleshoot.. (It didn't end well) I spent the last 11 hours straight trying to find any way I could fix the problem. Googled, tried youtube, look into forums (without posting until now) and sadly I still couldnt find a solution. I literally tried everything:

The Things I Did To Try To Fix My Audio Problem

Wiped out my ssd
Deleting Realtek and then reinstalling the drivers
Messed around in windows settings
Enabled sound hd through bios]
Did some stuff (to long to name) in control panel and device mananger
in file explorer I tried doing some stuff
And even reinstalling windows completely

Specs/Audio Gear

Senneheiser Hd 450Bt
MSI Rtx 2060 super GP Ventus
Ryzen 5 2600
Asus Prime B450m A

After all this, I still cannot get my Audio to even work. Not even the sound of windows booting. I am really stressed and about to go mental, so ANYONE that can help me I am very thankful for!

Did you check to make sure you have things in the right jacks? Did you try the front jacks? Make sure the cables to the motherboard are all in the right spots from the front panel? If the drivers were installed properly with no errors you should see something in the audio options for them even without anything plugged in.

You can also simply get a PCIe sound card ASUS Xonar SE is good for the price.
@Mtop
Pulling CPU with Fan - Ouch!
Did you verify that no pins got bent?
What do you see in Sound control panel? ( right click speaker icon - select)
Are your speakers or HDMI selected?
You should be able to hear sound using test.

No pins were harmed in the progress and when in the sound control panel place, realtek dosent even show up. Speakers dosent is not an option, only hdmi.
Btw tysm for the reply! I waited so long for a reply 😀

So now I need to ask are the speakers plugged into the back panel if so then sound control panel should see them. So now to device manager - what does the entry for sound look like. If realtech is not there then reinstall drivers.
Try Asus disk or Asus site first. We can't select it if we cant see it.

My headphones are plugged in my back io and in control panel I can't select them. Ive tried reinstalling drivers from both asus and realtek many times and still dosen't work.
