Hello people,I decided after some years of absence from pc gaming to build a new pc.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D(4,2)
Sapphire Radeon Rx 6700 XT Pulse 12 gb
Corsair Desktop Ram Vengeance Lpx 32 gb(2x16)
Samsung Ssd980 Nvme M.2 1 tb
Be Quiet!Psu Straight power 11 series 750W 80+ gold
Gigabyte motherboard B650m DS3h
Sharkoon Midi ATX Tower TG4 RGB Modi tower
Be quiet! Cooler Dark rock pro 44

Tell what you think of the pc I am trying to build.Do you think that maybe I should buy an older CPU and buy a better GPU? The pc will be used mostly for gaming and Autocad.

Thanks in advance fellow members

i tried one of these for 3440x1440p 120Hz gaming and it was pretty disappointing.
most of the more demanding games barely passed 60fps with highest settings and with RT effects enabled they were unplayable.

switched to RTX 3080 Ti and have no problem getting ~120fps in the same games with same settings.
This goes far beyond my budget mate 😞
Plus I will mostly play at 2k not 4k

What settings did you use?Ray tracing and Nvidia stuff is known to kill Amd cards a little.

i would also recommend more than one drive.

1x 256GB-1TB SSD for OS & applications,
1x 1-4TB SSD for game installations,
1x larger disk for storage and backup.

I will add more later for sure, this build is just the start of it.

What I care about mostly is not having to change CPU or GPU in the next 4 years in order to play new games decently(I don't care about Ultra max settings,I just want games to run decently in high settings. And don't care if I have to lower some specific settings like ray tracing etc.

only RT lighting effects.
i always keep all texture, shadow, distance, AA settings on highest.

3440x1440 is 2K @ 21:9, more like 2.5K.
So you really think I should drop this card and go for something more expensive?my budget is a little limited and better cards cost roughly around 300 or 400 euros more. The one you told me is sold here at 1400-2000 euros, depending on the version.Thats 1000-1500 more than the Rx 6700.Is there maybe a better card that's a little more expensive than Rx 6700?

Ps:Thanks for the fast replies people,I really appreciate it.

I finalising on my build, but only one thing still bothering me.Which combo is better?(I will play at 2k)

7600x with 6800 16 gb
7800x3d with 6700 12 gb
7600 with 3070 8 gb

Thanks in advance people

The 7600x with a 6800 will give you the best performance out of your options.

Obviously the 7800X3D is a more powerful CPU for gaming, but it wants paired with an RX 7900 XTX. If the 6800 is the best GPU you can afford and that means getting a 7600x, then that's the best combination.

That's what I think too
Is that DDR4 ram or DDR5 ram?
I think Vengeance Lpx has only DDR4 option.

Your board requires DDR5. It is not compatible with DDR4.
It's ddr 5 mate
What country are you located?
Greece,why do you ask?

is more expensive so I can't get this with an 6800 sapphire, I will have to stick with 6700...
by getting an 7600x instead of 7800x3d I save around 150 euros that I can spend on the GPU..,
etc.
rather than having to skimp some now and likely being disappointed down the road and looking to upgrade again sooner

why not just save for a bit longer and get something that will offer better performance now and hold up longer into the future?

Because I always delay it.Been delaying it for some months now.Plus I don't think that with either of those combos I will have a prob to be honest at 2k, I am just searching for the best combo.I already think the price is too high anyway and don't want to spend any more on a pc.I wrote it before,I don't have a problem to tone down the settings a little in order to play a game,so even with these setups I think I won't have a prob for at least 5 years.I am just searching for the best value out of the money I am willing to spend.
