When I install afterburner it doesn't work correctly. No icons are placed on the start menu or the desktop. Most of the things I want to measure when monitoring don't show on screen. The GPU usage show up but at 65000%. Clearly it's not working right. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

I've installed it as an ordinary user and as administrator and even tried it with an NVIDIA GPU instead of the Vega 11 graphics but nothing seems to work.

The only thing I can say is onscreen monitoring is something you have to manually enable.

The rest I've never had happen. I'm thinking maybe reinstall it or check to see if disabling any possible conflicting background app startups might sort it out. If that doesn't work, scan for malware and system file corruption.

SFC (follow instructions exactly)

I'm running W10 1903 myself with latest updates and Afterburner works fine.
