hi all
i'm sorry for "bad" english but i'm italian :))

i some problem during install a sata HD on 7n400 pro2 in base mode
first of all i've configured bios with this settings:

Adv. bios features -->sata\raid\scsi boot order: "sata"
Adv. bios feat. -->first boot device: "scsi"
Adv. bios feat. -->second boot dev.: "floppy"
Adv. bios feat. -->third boot dev.: "cdrom"
Integr. perif. --> onboard h\w serial ata: "enable"
Integr. perif. --> serial ata function: "base"

then i begun ti install WinXP, F6, plugged in the floppy with Si3112 (not
si3112r) driver and then, when installation was complete, rebooted.

after reboot, the system seems not found the sata hd !! ;__;

i try to install the driver on the previous OS on uATA HD, and all seems
ok: i can see the winxp installation file on sata hd, but it can't boot by
itself

help please
and happy Easter :)

p.s.: i tried with both new and old driver and bios version....

Do you have any other PCI IDE controller cards fitted to the motherboard?

I had a somewhat similar problem... Try first boot device floppy,
second boot device cdrom, third boot device scsi.
if that doesnt work, put sata function to raid and reinstall again,
using the sata raid drivers.
