I understood that I could use the Ageia card with an ATI card like a 4870 x2 to get the best of both worlds, 2 differnt video cards can have problems I thought. would at 9500 work with a 4870 x2?

thanks for input dudes

I guess you could dig up one of the old driver packages for the PPU; its just unsupported at this point.

The real problem is Vista. You can't install two seperate display drivers, meaning you can't mix a NIVIDIA PPU (what I call a NVIDIA card doing physX) with a ATI card. (XP/7 can do this, however).

Nvidia relased new stabdalone drivers for Ageia cards in June 2009 for all Widow systems. I am in business... I am getting UT3 today and give it a spin. I will see if XP or Vista works better.

Out of curiousity is the Ageia card PCI express full speed, I'm assuming it is but I have not spare PCI-E slot and wondered if it was x4 or x1?
