Hi, can anyone recommend a good motherboard that has an AGP slot and supports the core 2 duo processor?

thanks

thanks a lot, i take it the asus would probably be the best bet if i'm to build a really good games machine. Also what are the limitations of this board with respect to using core 2 duo? im thinking of these bits in particular:

*Only PCB R2.0(or later version) supports FSB 1066 MHz
*Due to chipset limitation, the Intel Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology, C1E, and TM2 are not supported in this model)

nice 1

Tik ask why AGP, well I'm in the market for a core 2 dual AGP board too. I have a machine with a EVGA 8800 card running a water cooled E6600 CPU on a EVGA MB. Now I want to upgrade this machine to a Quad Core processor. My back up machine is a water-cooled 3.2 presscott with a ATI 850XT video card. The ATI 850XT is a great video card so I want to place the 850 onto a MB that is core 2 ready with a AGP slot. Put the E6600 processor on it and buy a Q6800 for my game machine.

That’s it.
