sorry, I didn't quite no where to post this... anyway... I installed the Enermax Multi-Function Panel UC-9FATR2, which goes into a 5.25 floppy drive bay and has controllers for you fan RPMs, adds an 18-in-1 card reader, 2 USB ports, Firewire, external SATA plug-ins, and an LCD showing some temps.

Anyway I got it all hooked up, plugged stuff in, and... it won't boot. I get no video signal even though I have changed nothing with my video setup. I get a post error code that says "Clear Noise of IRQ" - whatever the heck that means. Anyway, I play around with how some stuff is plugged in, get different error codes, get frustrated and unplug everything from this new control panel and restore to my original state. everything is now plugged in the same as it was when I started; this Enermax thing sits there in the drive bay and is plugged into nothing.

I turn on my comp to go.. and it seems to boot up, well I don't get an error code anyway, but I still have no video. Everything is plugged in like it always has been...

Any ideas?

Sounds like you have shorted something or maybe something is grounded. I would make sure that all cables and cards are firmly into place and the the mainboard isn't connected to the case anywhere except for the places where it should be (screwholes).
You should also disconnect the power from the mainboard when you do this.
Another option is resetting the BIOS. Find the CMOS jumper, put it in clear CMOS mode, boot up, power down, put it in normal mode and power up again.

Hey thanks for the help, I got it all straightened out and took back the emermax control panel. All is well once again!

- Sorry I forgot to mention... the problem was that in moving around cables for the control panel, one of the power cables had to switch to be plugged into another powercable. A lot of switching around occured. Somehow, the power cable that had always been connected to the graphics card became 'dead' somewhere through the chain, I had to trace stuff back and found where I lost power. I also checked other cables and the other suggestions; not sure if it was one thing or a combo but it all just turned back on and worked right again.
