I have problems with an older Asus P2B-DS motherboard with an onboard AIC-7890 SCSI-controller.
My question is related to the pre-OS part, so BEFORE the OS starts.
When I start the computer, with CTRL-A I can go into the AIC-7890 BIOS and there "SCSI Disk Utilities" show me all connected devices. So far no problem
When booting normally (without entering BIOS (DEL) and without entering SCSI-BIOS (CTRL-A) no devices are found at all.
Even when I leave SCSI-BIOS after having done "SCSI Disk Utilities" successfully, the rescan returns nothing
I'm not new to SCSI, but have never encountered alike problem !
What might be going on ?
