Hey guys, so I decided to sell to buy an aio for me ryzen 5 3600 but my budget is only around 2000-3500php (~40-69USD), as of now I have found 3 240mm aio that fit this price range in my country but I dont know which one is the most worth it among them.

Here are the 3 AIO is have found so far
  • Bykski 240mm ARGB (3500php)(~68USD)
  • ID Cooling Zoomflow 240x (3000php)(~60USD)
  • Deep Cool Gammaxx l240 argb (3400php)(~66)

I do prefer argb aios or no rgb at all since the rgb header in my mobo is already used.
Other suggestions are welcome.

Solution
Fuma would be good. Been reading up on it and user feedback.

One example
Can i maybe persuade you go air instead? Besides water cooling being not really necessary for that cpu, you will eventually have to replace pumps as it will fail, not if but when. Do you really want have that feeling looming?

What's your case and usual ambient temperature?

What specific stores do you shop at and do they have a website?

Possible suggestion.

I do want to go air cooling if possible, however noctua is really op in my country, a u12s already cost around 4500php (~89USD), also I formerly had a snowman t6 cooler but the temps go up to 70c in games only in a stock r5 3600. I know 70c is still a good temp but I do want to have some overhead temp for the processor if ever hotter days will come. The ambient temp in my room reaches up to 30-35c with all of the windows open and an efan running. I saw in reviews that an arctic freezer 34 esports duo is also good but most reviews show ambient temps around 21-23c only

Arctic freezer is pretty good, so is
Scythe Mugen 5.

Think of it this way, you won't be running 100% load a lot of the time in games, not likely heavy torture tests review sites use. Hsf lasts forever and an aio will eat up costs maintaining it, so could probably expand budget a little more with that in mind.

one of my buddies have a mugen 5 black edition and he told us that it only performs on par with his old snowman t6 cooler which is half the price of the mugen 5 here in my country

the snowman t6 cost around 1300 (~25USD) while the mugen 5 black edition is 3400php (~66USD)
both of us use the same case and have the same number of fans inside although we differ in case fans, he uses id cooling wf12025 while I use arctic p12s

What temps does he get doing similar tasks to you, any warm days where he is? Just for reference to compare with.
well we both live in here in ph and we are about a town or two away from each other so I can assume that we experience the samilar ambient temps and weather conditions. his room has a better ventilation setup though since he has two windows and uses an exhaust fan and wall fan to. We both play valorant and I made him try running cinebench r20 and his temp reached 85c for both coolers. While playing valorant he told me that his temps reach 70c in the menu and around 60-70c in game for both coolers too. He also told me that he only used nt-h1 for both coolers

I cant really go to their house right now cause of the pandemic so I am only trusting his word and the screenshots and videos he is showing me

70c is good, not always warm there yeah, just seasonal? How wide is your case? 196mm or more, could go Noctua D15 and be done, it performs just as well as most aios and you have it for life.
well the 70c is already for the semi cold days, during warm days ambient temps can reach up to 35c and stay there for the rest of the day
as for the case, the max cooler height that our case can hold is 160mm, and the d15 is around 5500 here (~109USD) which is way beyond the budget I can alot for the my cooler.

I am thinking right now if going with fuma 2 will show better temps than the mugen 5 but I am not sure since some reviews show that their performance are not really that far and my friends experience with the mugen 5 is not really good compared to coolers that cost less than half of its price

ohhh okay, does this mean that in my case, due to higher ambient temps, the fuma 2 will be a better choice for me? even though according to your example that a mugen 5 should be more than enough for an r5 5600x?

Your welcome. Let us know how it goes.
Hi!
Just want to give you an update, the fuma 2 was out of stock when I tried to talk to the seller in my country (there is only one seller of scythe products here), so I just grabbed the freezer 34 esports duo for around ~45USD from its og price of ~53USD here. So far the temps of my r5 3600 seems to have improved a bit. I am still reaching up to 80c on prime 95 but this time the frequency goes up to about 3.85-3.95ghz compared to my friends setup that uses the mugen 5 which hovers around 3.7-3.8ghz only.
Anyway, thanks again for the help and all the info you gave me!

Prime95 is quite excessive, don't think games will reach that high, although with added heat dumped from gpu, temps could be close depending how quickly air is dispersed which id imagine at a good rate with your case.
so far during my tests I am reaching 60-70c depending on the game with clock speed ranging from 4.15-4.2ghz
