Question AIO Lighting not working but fans are?

Hey guys,

I've recently built a new pc and everything is working except the lighting on the AIO unit. I currently have a Deep cool L240 gammax AIO and a B660m-A Pro wifi ddr4 motherboard.

I've checked the wiring and the 4 pin lighting power cable is plugged into a 12v rgb header (JRGB1) on the motherboard and I've checked the wires are in the same format as what is is in the deepcool L240 manual.

I've downloaded mystic light to see if that would work but it's still not switching on. Both fans on this AIO are working as they should and my CPU temps are around 23 degress- so the actual AIO is working.

I'm guessing it must be the connection to the 4 pin 12v rgb connector on the motherboard?

Please see the manual for the B660m-a Pro motherboard below and deepcool l240 v2 manual:

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B660M-A-DDR4/support#manual

https://www.deepcool.com/products/Cooling/cpuliquidcoolers/2021/11413.shtml

Any help would be great, feel like I'm at the final 5 meters of getting this build finished and the fact the lighting isn't working is a tad bit annoying haha.

Cheers in advance guys

Have you tried seeing if using one fan led plugged in to the JRGB header works? Can you see the color of the wiring on the plug?

Hey mate,

So both fan leds are wired into one which then plugs into the JRGB header. So I can't try them individually I don't think?

I can't see the wiring, it's a 4 pin female 12v grb connector

In the manual, last box showing the fan connection diagram, fan 2 has the T wire coming off of it. One end goes to the Jrgb pin connector and the other plugs into the other fan connector. Try disconnecting the second connection to the fan and see if fan 2 lights up. I can't tell by looking at the diagram of the Jrgb plug, does it only fit one way?
