Question AIO - Orientation of Pump-Tubes

Hi guys,

may be a stupid/ philosphical question but:
Into which direction do you orientate the tubes from the AIO pump?

I'll be using it (NZXT Kraken Elite 360) as a top mount and the tubes should be long enough to either have them at 6 or at 3 o'clock of the pump.

Just some considerations before assembling everything within a few days.

Kind regards and thanks in advance!

It's been overblown/misrepresented. They don't even matter, with the exception of in-line pumps, which the Kraken Elite is not.
Pretend the hoses aren't even there, and only look at the cpu block and radiator:
-to have the radiator be the highest point of the cooling loop = roof installation
-to have one end of the radiator be the highest point of the cooling loop = front panel installation
One or the other.

I suspect it is going to depend which way you like the logo facing...if you can't just turn it. Maybe the tubes might get in the way of your memory or something else. I suspect it is going to be which way do you like it best more than anything else

Performance wise it makes no difference and since the whole radiator is above the pump you do not worry about air trapped in the pump. Most placement issue are related to avoiding air getting into the pump which you will find a lot of articles about.

Hi and thanks.
Okay. So it does not have any impact. nice. Then I'll probably be having the tubes at 6 o'clock.

The AIO has a display where the content can be rotated around. So, this wouldn't matter.

Thanks a lot. :)
