Hi, a few days ago i bought a new PC and everything seemed to work well but yesterday evening my pump began to make this buzzing sound. Reddit posts that i googled and chat gpt suggested to try tilting the PC but it didn't help. When PC is upside down pump makes like a gurgling sound and sometimes it is fine for a moment but then i bring it to the original position and it is there all over again. Pump runs at full power and from what i gathered in this model it cannot even be changed. It works fine too, I manually changed the fan curve and even then in idle CPU is below 40 degrees celsius, in stress while gaming temperatures are great too, heavy stress means around 70 degrees.

So everything seems to be working well except for that sound that drills into my skull XD For a few hours first when the issue began the buzzing would stop for a few seconds once in a while but it seems that now it just buzzes all the time... Do you maybe know whats going on and have any advice?

Thank you, I will really appreciate your help <3

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

First, I was asked to sign in onto Vimeo in order to view the content, then after signing in it says that the content is private. End result is that I can't see nor hear what you're experiencing. Might've just uploaded the video with audio onto Imgur or their ilk.

How is the AIO mounted in your case?

Pump runs at full power and from what i gathered in this model it cannot even be changed.
According to this video;

the pump has a 3pin cable coming out of it, which to me seems like you can manipulate the pump's speed in the BIOS by manually setting the RPM for said header/fan. Speaking of header, which header is the fan tethered to and which header are the fans tethered to courtesy of the daisychain harness?

Hi, thank you so much for your answer <3 I changed the video to public, sorry for the confusion - first time uploading any video anywhere. Yeah it has a 3 pin cable, i connected pump into to fan4_pump and fans are connected to cpu fan. In BIOS I can change to silent mode and then pump just goes bananas and switches all the time from low values to high and u can really hear pumping noises pulsating like a heartbeat. But the noise actually goes away then. When i tried to manually change it to lets say 80% then when I manipulate the values nothing changes. Even when I first select manual the values that are there do not match the reality - pump goes on 100% still. AIO is mounted on top of the case - you can see in the video. (Hopefully if it works this time 😀) Again thank you for your reply!

Edit. I uploaded it to youtube, should work now -

I have now plugged pump into CPU FAN and fans into CPU OPT and it is same thing. Issue persists and I can either turn off the pump completely when I change anything in manual setting or choose silent mode which goes haywire :/
