Question CPU overheats when launching and loading Borderlands 2 ?

As stated in the title, when i launch or load into a character in Borderlands 2, my CPU temps hit 92C.
But when playing other games such as BF6 beta and CoD, it never goes above 80C.
What can i do, is it a problem with settings or my cooling system?
I bought the PC 3 months ago.

CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 TI
MOTHERBOARD: Asus B650M-Plus TUF Gaming Wi-Fi
MEMORY: Corsair 32GB DDR5-6000
PSU: Asus Prime 750W
AIO: Asus TUF Gaming LC 240 II ARGB

Some games are more demanding than others specially when playing in lower resolutions.
Who set the BIOS up ? and changes from auto ? That cooler is adequate but don't know how it's set. Make pump and fans work full speed just for test.

A couple of questions :

1. What is the ambient temperature where you live?
2. How is the AIO mounted? Is it exhausting air from the case or bringing in cold air from outside the case?
3. Was this a pre built PC?

Either way 90 degrees seems hot but the above may contribute.

Regarding the undervolting of these chips however then as recommended a negative offset applied, via the BIOS ideally, can significantly reduce the temps of these chips. I have found from my experience that the chips will take a -15 all core offset without issue which does help reduce peak temperatures but it is advised to start with maybe -5 or -10 and then review and assess from there.

The option withing BIOS is normally located under the Precision Boost Overdrive setting and then curve optimiser. You can apply both positive amd negative offset so ensuring a negative value is selected is paramount. Patience is always key and each chip is different so build up to where you find the sweet spot.
