I'm thinking about watercooling my R9 390 via an AIO cooler, with mounting bracket as a fully custom loop is out of my price range.

The question is, it it worth doing, or will i be wasting my time?

Not bothered about voiding gpu warranty as picked up 2nd hand.

Heres what i reckon you should do try puhsing your r9 390 to the max of it's limits on air and see if you manage to up the voltage to the point where temperature becomes an issues then consider the doing the loop. It's pointless to do the water cooling if the card is unstable at the high voltages hence negating the performance aspect of the watercooling, however if it's nosiy then go ahead and water cool it!
