Hi,
Can I use an air cooler for Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz? Anyone use air cooling for Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz?.

i used an EVGA CLC 280 AIO and an ASUS 360mm AIO on mine and both did well at keeping it under 60°C and very quiet.

upon selling it to a friend he had me put a be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 air tower cooler on it and it remained ~60°C at max usage in games while only operating slightly louder than either of the liquid cooling systems.

also consider that in all 3 scenarios the 8700K was overclocked to 5GHz.
