Air Cooler for non-overclocked CPU

Well, I've had this PC for a while (got it towards the end of 2011) but I am not to impressed with the Intel Stock Air Cooler it has. The CPU is a beastly i7 2600 which manages to get to 50 degrees Celsius when idle. This occurrence has not happened that frequently but it still bugs me. Well, this is because I live in a very hot place in Australia and I never have any fans or air-conditioners on that often. I also want to extend the life of the CPU because I recently spent $800 on my new ITX build so therefore won't have the money for another LGA 1155 CPU for quite sometime.

TL;DR: I simply want a quality air cooler for my moderately warm CPU. I have considered water-cooling because of it's neatness but it wouldn't be worth it. Any recommendations for a good air-cooler?

CM Hyper tx3 evo is all you need.

How big is your case? The reason being is that while the tx3 recommended by batholomew is good many claim the 212 to be the air cooler of choice (see older thread comparing the two):

However, if you need a smaller fit the tx3 may be the way to go.

Yes, very easy to install

Since he's running a locked i7 he doesn't really need a hyper 212.
the Hyper tx3 evo is quite sufficient.

I've got an Antec 300 which is 200mm wide, but yes, I don't think I will need a Hyper 212
