this line of thinking is why the drinking age is 21, and why america has the world oldest children.

lets put it this way, im 23 almost 24. in countries where drinking age is lower and its socialy acceptable for a kid to drink on their own, they have lower deaths due to the i turned 21, never drank before, binge drinking deaths that collages deal with.

every other country in the world you can see a boob on tv, you can hear a bad word (they start with f c and s) but here they are bleeped, however in other countries, you cant see a severed head on a show that here would barely get a tv 14.

and age is relative, i was 11 when i stated finding porn on the internet, and i was 12 when i stopped caring. im about as grown up mentally now as i was when i was 12, and i know people who are in their 40s that i have no idea how they lived that long without knowing how the world works.

ok, as parents we have a responsibility....there are to many phucked up parents out there that don't care. i do understand that at one point in time our children will find out the things try to shelter them from. there is a proper time and age to experience certain things...
