Akai MPK 25

I have a new MPK25 and when I plug in the USB cable it says Upgrade NO FIRMWARE on the lcd. I downloaded the editor software from Akai's site which included a MPK25_v1_03.syx firmware file, follow instructions on updating the firmware and it never gets past the Upgrade receiving. I have Windows XP and the CD to the Akai MPK 25 .... Thanks.

I would go back to akai site and look for support link.
