Hi, When starting my router(Belkin 45g) and PC together , my router does not connect to the internet. However when I start my Pc first and after it is loaded I start my router the router immediately connects to internet! and everything is normal. At one time when I started them both together they worked normally, but this time lag has only came in since I reset my router. Any ideas?

Fair enough but I only asked because mine have never been switched off since I bought them. When the DSL signal from the telephone exchange falls over, they take a while to re-establish the connection so your router has to start work all over again every time you turn it on. The computer will work perfectly after it finishes booting, except it can't join a network or go online until the router finishes its powering up cycle and makes that DSL connection. For that reason, it always needs to be turned on a moment or so before you want the PC to be fully functional.

Thanks Saga Lout , I just don't understand why my pc has to be up and fully loaded before I turn on the router, otherwise the router wont connect to the internet.

Neither can I because the router is a stand-alone unit and doesn't depend on anything receiving the signal it sends by wire or wirelessly.
