If I check into a Hotel with ALEXA then ALEXA gets UNPLUGGED and buried in the drawer. This is just a means for the Hotel or Amazon to record your conversations.

This is an absolutely terrible idea. Last thing people want when they're traveling is their own hotel room spying on them.

Think about the average hotels WiFi for a second. Think about how well they "maintain" it. Think about their computer for printing things out. Does it have security patches and checkups for malware? The last one I was on was running Vista with IE.. Hotels don't know jack about keeping tech secure. Even avoiding - "tinfoil hat" - amazon big brother thinking there is just so so so many options for malicious use and the hotels wouldn't know how to check

Oh I know, hotel wifi is the worst. And very insecure. I won't ever make a credit card purchase on a hotel Wifi system, let alone linking my Amazon account to it. That just seems like a terrible idea on multiple levels.
