Alienware 17 r2 labtop New ram issue.

So, I have an alienware 17 with 8 gig ram (2x4G)( bought in late november 2014).I went to the dell website and looked at certified ram. The ram i could use for upgrade ( which was certified by dell) was an 8 gig ram ( Links Below). I looked at amazon and bought one that was dell certified and i believe was the exact same one (Links below). I just got it and put it into my laptop ( i followed the video on the dell support website). my labtop beeped twice when i put everything back in( which means it cannot detect ram). When i put back in my 4 gig ram, It worked. How do i fix this?

What is the service tag of the laptop? We can compare what's in it, and which one you need.

The difference in RAM of both links is that the one in the Dell site is low voltage, where as the one in Amazon is not.

Alienware 17 R2 Laptop supports DDR3L memory type - The lower voltage 1.35v than the usual DDR3 1.5v
