I am buying 10 Area 51 units ($1699) from Dell/Alienware and I need advice from "extreme cheapskates" on how to get the best deal. I think if I buy from Dell's small business division, I can get almost $150 to $200 off each. But I would also like to take advantage of Dell's $99 offer for the Venue 8 pro and pick up 10 of those. Help me squeeze the most out of this deal...do it for the children.

You can build a pc that's 2 times as powerful for the same price, even less. for 1000 dollars, you can build a pc that has an i5-4690k, which is surely one of the best, if not the best cpu for gaming. (i assume youre buying the alienware for gaming mostly)
itll have a gtx 970 or you can opt for a gtx 980 for 200 dollars more lol... youll...

The computers they build look pretty cool, i have to admit, but if you really want great performance, build the pc yourself. there are hundreds of tutorials on youtube/online on how to build them, i recently built one for my friend. it takes about 45mins- 1 hour to complete it. its not hard at all. once youre done building it, put in the operating system CD and install it, then youre ready to go. you should download/install the latest graphics drivers to play all games too.
