Nope, you need a minimum of 8gb ram for games, and a 1tb harddrive as games these days are around 20-50gb each.
And never buy these prebuilt so called gaming laptops.
Im in Australia, and a few day ago i went to a electronic store to buy desk fan
i saw a Gaming PC sitting there, And it Cost $3000AUD.
Then i opened the DXDIAG command to see the specs of that computer. It was running a 3 year old CPU, and a 2 year old Graphics card.
SO i came home and opened my laptop, Went on a local retailers website, Put those same parts into the cart.
AND you know how much it cost for the exact same PC custom built
$800 australian dollars, $800 !!! Can you believe it. i would have saved more than 2 thirds of the money.
The funny thing the stores do is they 16ram,and when people say is this gaming PC good, the guy at the store says yes very good it COmes with 16gb of ram.
You dont need 16gb ram, Gaming if fine with 8gb.
So they throw in a shit load of extra stuff which is not neccessary, And they charge you a shitload of cash.
And that alienware laptop is older than the $3000 PC i saw.
So the actual 2 things that matter the CPU and GPU, are actually old.
another trick they do is they put Green led lights in the case so it glows and kinda looks more expensive.
And for it to be cheap you dont have to build it your self, you just go to the shop and tell them the parts and they will build it for you, for an extra $100 fee
So yep thats the story, they sell them overpriced, cause they know whoever is gonna get a prebuilt, doesnt know anything about hardware, so they take advantage of that and Rip you off HARD.
