I have a 650 watt psu installed in my Alienware and was wondering what is the maximum graphics card that my motherboard supports. I have a 1070 right now and was thinking about getting a better one. thanks - vince

Solution
There is no “maximum” that a motherboard can take, it’s all just about bottleneck, and wattage. Honestly, you don’t need to upgrade your 1070, but if you’re absolutely sure you want to upgrade, then go right ahead. Depending on what kind of GPU you get, you may want to get more watts, but I don’t know the other specs, so I can’t determine that.
