alienware IPS and TN panel

I am planning to buy a gaming laptop with GTX10 series GPU . I am planning to buy alienware 17 R4. should i go with a UHD display ( TN panel and 120hz g-sync ) or with FHD display ( IPS panel and without g-sync ) .

is the TN panel that alienware used is that bad ??

is there a significant price difference?IPS panel is usually better in colour reproduction and does looks better overall than TN.but for gaming i might for the TN panel since it have a higher refresh rate and that G-sync function as well.
