I've just brought a Alienware M15 R4 laptop with a 4K 60hz screen. How easy would it be to swap out the screen for a 1080P 144hz screen? Also would anyone have a link for the exact screen I would need to buy. Thanks

Not easy if even possible. Return your purchase for the correct unit.

I've brought it second hand so voiding the warranty is not an issue for me.

If the laptop has a HDMI port, purchase a monitor that matches the laptop's video specs.
