Question Alienware M17xR4, Performance Issues!

Hello everyone, the above mentioned laptop has fps issues. It had solid 200 fps(avg ~16 yesterday while playing league of legends, and today it hovers around ~45, i tried reinstalling the drivers, changed the power usage and all, nothing changes, any ideas?

Specs :
CPU : i7 3740QM 2.7 GHz
Ram : 16 GB Dual-Channel DDR3
GPU : GTX 675M
Storage : 240 GB Kingston SSD/ 700GB Western Digital HDD

Do you happen to have GeForce Experience installed? If so, I suggest removing it.

Also, you can monitor your GPU with software (e.g GPU-Z) to see if it's being under-utilized. If it is, it's most likely a software or firmware issue.

i did that, it was actually the cpu that was under utilized, solved with a bios update, thank you for the answer!
