So before you all go off on Alienware and how bad it is as a choice, there is no current option for us to afford a new build at the current time.

Hubby had a Nvidia GTX 760TI that he got with the PC back in the day and now that card has failed. I'm not finding any info on the PCIE expansion slot that comes with the motherboard and was looking at very cheap low end will get the job done graphics card till we can afford to build a new system. I came across the Gigabyte GV-N1030OC-2GI Nvidia GeForce GT 1030 OC 2G Graphics Card which runs 89.00 on amazon and new egg. Will this card work with the Alienware X51 R2? Or are there better cards I can get around 100 or less that will perform better than this card?

The 760TI was an OEM card, 170W, required 2x6pin connectors.

So, realistically, it should support a lot of GPUs. I would look to the used market though, in the <$100 space, there's not a lot of options.
Something like this used RX570 would be a great option.

Or an RX480.

Not 100% sure what kind of room you're working with in that X51 R2 though....

Looks like the 760TI was a dual-slot blower design, but not 100% sure on it's dimensions, as it's an OEM-only card.
