Hi there!

After I installed a program called AirFoil, I got a pop-up saying:

'Integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.

More information at:
http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_error'

Then after that pop ups are appearing continuesly that tell me that all my software in the background is crashing. The all give me the same well-known pop-up saying '*name of the software* has stopped working'. Even apps in my google chrome browser crash, and I cant use my computer anymore.

What I tried to do to fix it so far:

- Run my virusscanner (BitDefender), it didnt find anything.
- Run HitmanPro, it found some malicious software and a trojan, but it didnt fix the problem.
- I ran a disk check on the C drive by windows, it didnt find anything.

What could i furthermore do to fix this problem? It makes my computer unusable.

Help is much appreciated!

If this happened to me, the first thing I'd do would be to uninstall that AirFoil program. If that doesn't fix the problem, I'd do a System Restore from a recent image. If I still had the problem, I'd restore from a recent full system backup I have. If you haven't made full system backups, maybe this is a learning experience for why you should.

With my kind of work and software I have installed that would take me several days to get my computer up and running again.. I'd rather look for other solutions first before going that way!
