All fans stopped working

gigabyte ga 78lmt s2 CPU fan and system fans just stopped working, cannot figure out why? The PC will come on, everything loads, but it will overheat if left on for more than just a few minutes. Any ideas on why or how to fix it? PC is my wife's it's about 8 months old, no heavy gaming mostly just watching videos, social media and browsing the web. Everything was just updated a couple of weeks ago, no virus/malware/adware found. BIOS is up to date, everything is fine but the fans.

Try resetting CMOS/BIOS.

Resetting cmos /bios did not work. I've tried everything I can think of ... I'm stumped.

update. I could not figure it out and gave in to going to my local computer shop. They did everything I did and then decided to replace the fans, turns out that ALL of the fans went bad at the same time. I am still completely baffled by it, the shop guys were too but it's working now. Weird to say the least.
