I have recently assembled a PC. All the games are freezing on it. I suspected a faulty graphic card so I replaced it but games are freezing even on the new card.

Also tried reinstalling Windows 10 but that didn't resolve the issue. I removed the card and played cities skylines and hearts of iron 4 on the intel HD graphics which are CPU & RAM intensive games and my PC didn't freeze. So is my PSU faulty or the motherboard? Can anyone please help me with this?

My Specs---

i5 6402p
Asus B150m
corsair vs450
rx480 8gb
hyperx fury 8gb

I would recommend a TX or RX series corsair psu in your wattage range.

Here are the difference between the different series of Corsair psus

I have Corsair VS450W. Temperatures were normal. CPU goes around 50-55 C and GPU 60-65 C

Do you think it is the power supply? What I know is PSU issue will reboot/shutdown the PC (I am a noob in PSU) but here I am just facing a freeze issue.

It is a new PC and all the drivers, BIOS are updated. I also tried downgrading the GPU drivers to older version but still no luck🙁

Oh... I was not aware of this recommended value. I just calculated the power requirements my rig and it says 335W max, so i picked up a 450W PSU. So, I think I need to buy a new one... crap...

XFX, evga and Seasonic are toooo over priced here in India. Can you suggest anything from Corsair, Antec, Coolermaster etc
